What is IoT?

what is IoT?
Internet of Things is the concept of connecting any devices to the internet and to other devices all devices in the network interact with each other to collect and share data. The principle of it is to collect and send data from a device or sensors process this data in the server or processing unit and deliver the output on a user interface.

SENSORS:

History of IoT:
The concept of connected devices is coming into existence in the electromagnetic telegraph at 1832 in which the telegraph is enabled direct communication between two machines through the transfer of electric signals. At the beginning of the 21st century, the term "internet of things" came into worldwide. Moreover, several major developments were implemented form the year 2000, and by this year 2020 IoT has found its way into almost every industry: manufacturing, healthcare, transportation, oil&energy, agriculture, retail, and many more. As of today, the IoT platform maintains a stronghold. IoT provides more and more opportunities when combined with other technologies such as Blockchain, AugmentedReality(AR), Virtual Reality(VR), Machine learning, Big data, Cloud-computing, and Edge computing.

Benefits of IoT
SAVE TIME:
  • Technology increases the efficiency of any task or activity, make it faster. this technology saves time and increases the efficiency of the tasks.
  • It reduces the human effort and save out time.

IMPROVE SECURITY:
  • Technology helps reduce the risk of cybercrimes by using Artificial intelligence.
  • If we have a system that all these are interconnected then we can make the system more secure and efficient.
  • IoT encourages communication between devices, also known as Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication.
BUSINESSES:
  • The IoT is producing new business opportunities through innovation as well as by redefining traditional business operation models.
  • Businesses can use advanced IoT analytics to improve efficiency and productivity and reduce costs.
Disadvantages:
This technology leads to a shortage of human jobs as it replaces the works of humans.
This technology is very expensive, everybody cannot offer it.

MACHINE LEARNING

MACHINE LEARNING The collecting, sorting, and analyzing all of these data are pretty time consuming, however, that's starting to change with the emergence of something called Machine Learning. Machine-Learning Is type of computer science that allows computer programs to learn and all on their own in the past. computers could only do what we programmed them to do but in machine learning, they can behave like humans and gain their knowledge based on their past experiences. HOW DOES MACHINE LEARNING WORKS? Machine Learning is 'A' division of AI. it's really cool because we don't actually have to program the machine to do what we want it improves or learns by repeating the same task over and over again. it's similar to how a person learns from experiences.it works by exploring data, identifying patterns, and involves minimal human intervention. almost any task that can be completed with a data-defined pattern or set of rules can be automated with machine learning. t...

Augmented Reality (AR)

W hat is      AUGMENTED REALITY?                                                Augmented Reality or short AR is not to be confused with virtual reality  in contrast to how VR  creates a new world. AR is the part of the surrounding environment that is actually real in other words AR adds layers of virtual objects to the real environment. these AR projects the image more clearly on the Mobile screen's. HISTORY The first AR technology was developed in 1968 at Harvard. Computer scientist Ivan Sutherland created an AR it is a head-mounted display system. However, AR only becomes popular when the game pokemon go has launched in 2016. Nowadays smartphone-powered AR which lets to play games in the living room. besides gaming AR can be used to enhance both life and work. AR in various field's    AR contains u...
